ANTONIO J.ALCAIDE

Dr Alcaide completed his degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Malaga (2005) where he graduated with top marks. Between 2006 and 2010 he specialized in dermatology and venereology at the University Hospital Virgen de la Victoria, where he became interested in the field of hair and scalp diseases with special emphasis on alopecia and its medical/surgical treatments.

He is a member of several scientific societies including The Spanish Academy of Dermatology, The European Academy of Dermatology and The Trichology Spanish Group. In 2012, Dr Alcaide joined BHR Clinic in Spain. Together with Dr Teresa Meyer, they are currently responsible for the Hair Medical and Hair Transplantation Department in Malaga’s Dr Galvez Hospital.
